PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICE FOR DESIGN AND SUPERVISION OF CONSTRUCTION OF INTEGRATED JUSTICE CENTER AND OTHER JUDICIARY BUILDINGS INCLUDING MEDIUM AND SMALL COURT HOUSES

Expression of Interest

Date: 30^th March, 2016

1. This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) which appeared in Daily New Issue No.6608 dated 30^th March, 2016.

2. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has received credit from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development towards the cost of Citizen- Centric Judiciary Modernization and Justice Service Delivery Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to the Payment Under Contract For Consultancy service for design and Supervision of Construction of Integrated Justice Center and other judiciary buildings including medium and small court houses (TBD)

3. The Judiciary of Tanzania now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services for Provision of Consultancy service for design and supervision of Construction of Integrated Justice Center and other judiciary buildings including medium and small court houses (TBD).

4. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.

5. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank Procurement Guideline; Procedure under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits.

6. Selection will be conducted through the Quality and Cost based selection procedures specified in the World Bank Guidelines; Procedure under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits.
7. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from the office of the Secretary of Tender Board, Judiciary of Tanzania, 26 Kivukoni Road, Court of Appeal Building, Ground Floor Room No. 44, P. O. Box 9004, 11409 Dar salaam from 08:00hrs to 15: 30hrs  on Monday to Friday inclusive except on public holidays.

8. Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be delivered to the Office of the Chief Court Administrator, Procurement Management Unit, Ground Floor, Room No. 44 Court of Appeal Building, 26 Kivukoni Road, P. O. Box 9004, 11409 Dar es Salaam at or before 10:00hrs 13^th April, 2016.

9.      Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
