ANNOUNCEMENT 

RE: MID – YEAR 2018 ADMISSION AND ENROLMENT OF NEW ADVOCATES  
 

 Reference is made to your interview with His Lordship, Chief Justice of the United Republic of Tanzania which was held on different dates from 18th – 21st June 2018, 10th – 14th July 2018 and 17th July 2018.

Please be informed that the admission ceremony for the Mid - year 2018 will now take place on 19th July, 2018 at 08:00 am at Karimjee Grounds.  

On that particular day you will be one of the Advocates to be admitted, if at all there shall be no objection raised by the members of the legal profession against your admission.  

In order to make the ceremony a success you are required to do the following;  

1. On the 19th day of July, 2018 you shall be required to be in robes, dark suit, white shirt, white bib and black shoes. It is mandatory for you to dress yourself in the above stated attire during the “Admission Ceremony”.  

2. On the admission date you should be seated at the Karimjee Grounds at 06:30 am.  

3. Before admission ceremony, make sure that all necessary fees for admission, Practising Certificate and Notary Public and Commissioner for Oaths in Tanzania are paid to the Registrar of the High Court of (T) and those paid to the Tanganyika Law Society as well. Moreover, you should adhere to other requirements as far as GN No.62 is concerned.
